Bomber Adds "Après" to "Ski" at Madison Ave. Boutique with The Macallan Display March 11, 2016

Embodying ski culture both on and off the slopes, we have embraced the "spirit" of après-ski at our Madison Ave. boutique with a presentation of custom "The Macallan" Bomber skis and a bottle of Rare Cask from their Fine & Rare Collection.

Within our gallery, a bottle of The Macallan 12 Year Sherry Oak whisky complements a pair of Bode Miller-signed custom "The Macallan" skis in a unique display of ski art.

Bomber Ski and Bode Miller Attend Directors' Cup Invitational Ski Classic March 07, 2016

Bomber Ski principals Robert Siegel, KT Stallings Bren and Bode Miller brought their Stars & Stripes skis and racing spirit to Telluride last weekend for the annual Directors' Cup Invitational Ski Classic to benefit the U.S. Ski Team. (You can benefit the U.S. Ski Team yourself year-round by purchasing our Stars & Stripes skis from our online boutique. We contribute a portion of every ski sale to the team.)

Robert (kneeling above at left), who is no stranger to racing, represented Bomber on the course, and Bode led the way for everyone by forerunning.

The team enjoyed picture-perfect blue-bird days, both for the races and during a special ski day with Bode Miller, where he personally introduced new Bomber enthusiasts to the skis.

Thank you to everyone who skied and raced with us in Telluride!

Bomber Ski Travel Guide: Visit Telluride March 01, 2016

Ski Telluride

Few places on earth can match Telluride's beauty and authentic ski town charm. Here is our Bomber Ski Travel Guide for where to stay, eat and ski.

Where to Stay

The Madeline Hotel & Residences

Named one of the "Top 5 Hotels of the West" by readers of Conde Nast Traveler, The Madeline has mastered the art of hospitable luxury with concierge and bell service, daily housekeeping, in-room dining and a full-service slopeside ski valet. We, of course, appreciate the on-mountain location!

Where to Dine Allred's Restaurant

Call us traditional, but Allred's is Telluride's most popular restaurant for a reason -- and it's only partly because of the ambiance and sweeping mountain views. The menu, from Colorado braised beef short rib to bourbon marinated elk strip loin, is exceptional.

Where to Ski

North Chute

With 2,000 skiable acres and zero lift lines, finding a bad run at Telluride is blissfully impossible, but we have to agree with EpicSki (read the whole article here) that North Chute is a gem among gems. Tucked away below Look Out run, this narrow, just-long-enough tree has consistently great snow, thanks to its shaded location.

The Skis to Bring

Bomber Heritage Ski - Teak

The fast, fun Bomber Heritage ski, with its tip-to-tail wood core and front-side-friendly construction, is the perfect ski for Telluride's varied terrain.

Where to Après Ski

The Last Dollar Saloon

"The Buck" is where to après-ski in Telluride, and probably where you'll meet your newest friends. Throw a quarter in the juke box and order up a Colorado draft beer at this 35-year-old Telluride establishment.

Bomber Guide to Spring Ski Fashion: 5 Looks We Love February 23, 2016

For skiers, spring means blue-bird days, après-ski al fresco, and at last a chance to hang up the neck gator, toss the bulky parka, and put fashion over function.

Here are five looks we love from our favorite names in ski fashion, paired with Bomber skis for the perfect spring style:

The Look: Bogner Jacky-DP Red Jacket with Fur | Find at: Gorsuch

Pair with: Bomber All Mountain Olympic White Skis

Embrace spring with a lighter fabric and a pop of color. The fur-lined hood on this Bogner jacket will keep you warm on powder days, and the mood-lifting print will help you stand out on the après-ski ski deck.

The Look: Cerium Lt Vest by Arc'teryx | Find at: Gorsuch

Pair with: Bomber All Mountain Keith Haring Tribal Warrior Skis

For those late spring days, ditch the park and build your look around a bright vest. Pair a solid color with more eye-catching skis, like the Artist Series Tribal Warrior with imagery by Keith Haring.

The Look: Asta Black Fleece | Find at: Gorsuch

Pair with: Bomber Basquiat Abstract Pizza Skis

Orange isn't just the new black on Netflix. Integrate this warm hue into your spring ski wardrobe and pair with playful Artists Series skis like Abstract Pizza with imagery by Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The Look: Aztech Mountain Maroon Bells Camo Down Jacket | Find at: Aztech Mountain Online

Pair With: Bomber All Mountain Stealth Skis

The Look: Moncler Body Matte Down Jacket | Find at: Gorsuch

Pair with: Bomber Basquiat King Fisher Skis

Inside Light It Up Blue Aspen February 19, 2016

Bomber Ski is proud to have supported Light It Up Blue Aspen this month, promoting Autism research and awareness through Ascendigo, a Colorado organization that provides outdoor recreation activities to children and young adults across the full Autism spectrum.

Bomber principals Robert Siegel and Bode Miller attended the annual event last Saturday night with our partners at Gorsuch, where Bode personally auctioned our Stars & Stripes All Mountain skis and to support the cause. A Private Ski Day with Bode also sold at the live auction.

We were honored to have met leading autism specialists Drs. Jennifer Berman and Andrew Orman, along with many wonderful Aspen residents who attended the affair.

We already look forward to next year!

Ski with Bode Miller and Benefit Ascendigo, a Program for Kids and Young Adults with Autism February 10, 2016

Bomber Ski is thrilled to participate in the fifth annual Light It Up Blue Aspen on Saturday, the highly anticipated winter event to benefit Ascendigo, a program that runs summer and winter camps for kids and young adults with autism. With select tickets still available, we invite skiers enjoying Aspen this weekend to join us or consider a donation to LIUB Aspen.

Bomber athlete and Global Brand Ambassador Bode Miller will attend as a special guest, and attendees will have the chance to bid on Bode Miller-autographed Bomber Stars & Stripes skis in the live auction, complete with Bode Miller signature poles.

Ski enthusiasts can also bid online no matter where they are for the ultimate on-hill experience: a chance to ski with Bode Miller. Click here to bid.

We wish you all a happy President's Day weekend and hope that you have a chance to spend a few days with family and friends on the slopes! If you happen to be in Aspen, stop by the Aspen Mountain or Little Nell Gorsuch stores to demo a pair of Bomber skis.

Deer Valley FIS World Cup Preview February 04, 2016

It has been a year since Bomber Ski athlete K.C. Oakley took first in the Deer Valley World Cup mogul competition, and although a back injury has delayed her return to the slopes, K.C. will be sharing a behind-the-scenes peek at World Cup events this year through her Instagram -- just one of this year's many highlights.

On the mogul course, we will have our eye on Bomber athlete Jeremy Cota, who has finished near the top 10 in his last two competitions, including a first-place finish among Americans in Calgary last week. Cota, who took the podium last year in Japan, will look to edge closer toward his 7th place overall finish in last year's World Cup standings.

We will also be cheering the young German men's mogul squad led by 23-year-old Julius Garbe, who has landed a spot on the rankings list after a strong showing last week in Calgary. Nearly all skiers on the Germany's men's mogul team ski on Bombers. (See them below with their Keith Haring Luna Luna skis.)

Mikael Kingsbury of Canada is expected to win his fourth competition of the season, and sisters Chloe and Justine Dufour-Lapointe, also of Canada, are expected to battle for a win in the ladies' competition.

Bomber Athlete Jeremy Cota Was Top U.S. Mogul Skier at Calgary World Cup February 01, 2016

Bomber Ski athlete Jeremy Cota was the top mogul skier on Team USA at the FIS Freestyle World Cup in Calgary on Saturday, finishing just shy of the Top 10 in the most heated competition of the year. Canadian Mikael Kingsbury, who has dominated the season so far by margins of 10 or more points ahead of the closest competitor, finished in the lead just one point ahead of runner-up Phillipe Marquis and just 12 points ahead of Cota.

Despite skiing so hard he broke a pole in the first competition of the year, Jeremy has fought his way back into contention with two strong performances over the last two weeks, pulling himself into the top 20 worldwide on the strength of just two competitions. A season's best could put him back into the top 10, a place the veteran is used to holding.

You can watch Jeremy compete again at the Deer Valley FIS World Cup taking place this weekend, with mogul events taking place Feb. 4-6. All events take place in the evening and are open to the public. During the day, you can test-drive Bomber skis at Park City Mountain or Deer Valley Resort through Gorsuch, which now offers Bombers for sale and demo.  See all Bomber demo and dealer locations

Snow Storms Hit The Northeast: The Bomber Skis You Need to Take Advantage January 25, 2016

As snow storms hit the Northeast over the weekend, skiers were perhaps the only ones celebrating, but with a delayed start to a season that has felt more spring-like than wintry, the feeling was warranted. Most resorts are now operating with a majority of lifts open, giving powder mavens from New York to New England far easier options than flying out West.

Here are the best skis to take advantage of the powder days to come and the spring skiing to follow:

Bomber Heritage Skis

Built to let skiers with a need for speed take on any conditions, Bomber's Teak Heritage Ski combines the best elements of an all-mountain ski with the finest materials, including real teak wood, and a GS-style tail for maximum stability and performance. Bode Miller skied on the Heritage Ash while filming Bode Miller Ski Chase in Portillo. Get them here

Bomber Ski Artist Series

Crafted with the same world-class materials and design as our All Mountain skis, including a full top-to-tail wood core and ABS sidewalls, Bomber's Artist Series skis are the perfect any-condition, any-weather, any-terrain kind of ski -- while paying tribute to New York artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, whose works are pictured on the top sheets. Above is the Basquiat Abstract Pizza ski. Get them here.

B52 Powder Skis

Wide enough to glide through powder yet versatile enough to carve, Bomber's 90-underfoot B52s are ideal for post-storm days on any terrain.  Get them here

Bomber Ski Hosts Event with Bode Miller at Hahnenkamm Lodge January 22, 2016

We were thrilled to host a special event for Bomber Ski owners and guests at the Hahnenkamm Lodge, looking out at the starting gate and the Mausefalle Jump. Gracious hosts Dirk and Natacha Hoffmann, owners of the lodge, welcomed us for an afternoon of gourmet fare, cocktails and skiing with our own Bode Miller. Celebrity chef Roland Trettl, formerly of Redbull's Hangar 7, served truffles over exquisite BBQ as we enjoyed Ferrari Spumante.
