Michelin three-star mixologist Brian Van Flandern, world-renowned for creating innovative cocktails using fresh, exotic ingredients for famed chefs Thomas Keller, Mario Batali and Michel Richard, launched his new book, Craft Cocktails, and signed an inordinate number of books at Pegu Club in New York City.
The party was hosted by Assouline, Brian Van Flandern and Robert Oppenheimer, Manager of Pegu Club, in the presence of Prosper Assouline and sponsored by Cointreau and G’Vine. 150 guests happily purchased the book and had the chance to experience two very tasty cocktails: The Standard (gin-based) and The Blue Cumber (tequila-based).
Van Flandern provided informative tips to the crowd for making beautiful and delectable cocktails at home.
Craft Cocktails explores the new golden age of the cocktail as a culinary art form.
